A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Since 1995, I’ve focused on one thing; successfully managing business sale transactions between buyers and business owners. Sometimes I’ve worked for the buyer’s side, but most often, I’ve been front line in the process working on behalf of the seller. I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in more than 130 successful transactions. With that comes experience in virtually every aspect and every contingency that can present itself in this complex process. Often a small detail can mean the difference of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In recent years. I’ve seen other representatives that claim to have transaction experience. Often, this “experience” was participating in a minor aspect of the sale or working in an operational role for the buyer. As a business owner, you need solid guidance based on years of proven results and experience in all aspects of the sale process. That’s what we can bring you at The Stansberry Firm; proven and tangible results honed from our years of hands-on experience. If we don’t feel we can deliver, we will tell you as much. If we have reservations, we will share those with you.
When I founded The Stansberry Firm, I felt it was important to state up-front in our mission statement what we are all about:
The Stansberry Firm is committed to helping the owners of closely held businesses maximize the value of their business. We approach your business as if we were a shareholder; if we feel we can’t deliver tangible results far in excess of any fees charged, then we won’t take on the engagement.
For most business owners, their business is their single largest asset. Sometimes it’s hard to work on your business, when you are so busy working in your business. Our job is to help you develop a path, a strategic plan, so that you may realize the most value for your business whether you intend to keep the business for generations to come or to exit the business via sale either in the short-term or long-term.
Give us a call, let’s talk. We value long-term relationships built on honesty, integrity and respect. We would love to talk with you and learn more about your business.
Gary W. Stansberry
